Hurrah for Artweeks!
Artweeks was the inspiration for the creation of Artists in Woodstock. We’ve participated in two Oxfordshire Artweeks this far, and we are currently planning for 2025.
In 2023 we took over Woodstock’s windows and created one giant art gallery, as well as holding an exhibition at St Mary’s Church. This captured the attention of Oxfordshire press, and we appeared on BBC Radio Oxford and in features in Cotswold Life and OxInABox.
In 2024, St Mary’s was, once again, our focal point, as well as the town’s windows. We created an overall theme for the week, Art Mind and Soul, which celebrated the link between creativity and wellbeing. We held a series of events, including arty pilates, a Mandala and Breath workshop by the Blenheim lake, and a mindful photography walk. And created a mindful meander where visitors could enjoy the art in a mindful manner.
