THEODORA BOORMAN

Theodora Boorman’s multi-disciplinary practice explores the construction of narratives and memory-making. Her work is grounded in approaches to history and the interface between the present and perceptions of the past in relation to storytelling. Boorman’s work is sympathetic to subjectivity and invites the viewer to engage with a diverse range of voices: she seeks to enable vernacular expressions of identity and narrative.

Boorman's practice is informed by her experiences of working with world class collections in museums and archives in Oxford for 16 years. Her work has won competitions in the UK and has been shown in the UK, Europe and the United States.
